CareApp makes it easy to keep your team informed and organised by sharing shift schedules directly within the platform. Whether you’re posting weekly rosters or team updates, CareApp gives you simple tools to communicate schedules clearly, track responses, and keep everyone on the same page.

Share Shifts Using Notices

If you want your schedule to be visible to the whole team on their home feed, Notices are perfect. They allow you to pin important rosters, share updates, and make sure everyone can see them at a glance.

How to Post a Shift Schedule as a Notice

  1. Log in to CareApp as an Administrator or Coordinator.

  2. Tap + New and select Notice.

  3. Add a clear title, for example: Care Team Roster.

  4. Enter any additional details or instructions for your team.

    • TIP: Use AI Polish to refine your text and ensure clarity.

  5. Attach your roster file (PDF or spreadsheet works best).

  6. Select the staff groups who should see the notice (Team Members, Site Coordinators, Administrators).

  7. Set how long you want the notice to remain pinned on the feed for visibility.

  8. Tap Send — your roster is now front and centre for your team!

Notices make schedules highly visible and easy to access, so your team always knows what’s coming up.

Share Shifts Using Messages

One of the easiest ways to share schedules is through Messages. This allows staff to see their shifts, ask questions, and confirm availability all in one place.

How to Share Shifts via Messages
  1. Log in with an Administrator or Coordinator account.

  2. Tap the Messages tab and select New to create a group.

  3. Choose the staff members you want to include (for example, your team for the week).

  4. Give your group a name, like “Morning Team – Week 8”.

  5. Post your schedule directly in the group or attach a file (PDF, Excel, or image).

  6. Staff can reply in the thread if they have questions or need to swap shifts — everything stays in one place, easy to find and respond to.
