Care Provider: Create a Video Chat
If you have a Team Member, Coordinator, or Administrator account on CareApp you can create a video chat for a Customer.
Follow the steps below to create a Video Chat:
Mobile
Starting a Video Chat on Mobile
Tap the big +New button at the bottom of your screen.
Select Video Chat from the menu.
Choose the customer you’d like to start the video chat for.
Tap Select Participants.
Pick up to three participants from the list.
Tap the orange Invite to video chat button at the bottom.
You’ll see a "Connecting to chat..." screen — just wait a moment.
Your camera will turn on, showing "Waiting for participants…” at the bottom.
As soon as someone joins, you’ll see them on screen and can start chatting.
Participants can come and go freely until you end the video chat.

Web
How to Start a Video Chat on Web
Click the big +New button on the left-hand menu.
Select Video Chat from the list of options.
Choose the customer community.
Click Select Participants.
Select up to three participants from the list - then click Done.
Click Invite to video chat
You’ll see a loading screen that says "Connecting to chat…" — hang tight for a moment. You may beed to allow CareApp to use your Microphone and Camera.
Your camera view will appear with "No one else has joined” displayed at the bottom.
Once someone joins, they’ll appear on screen and you’ll be able to chat with them.
Participants can join and leave the video chat freely until you choose to end the call by clicking the cross.
