Care Provider: Memorialise a Customer profile - Archive Customer and send slide show
What is memorialisation on CareApp?
Memorialisation on CareApp is a beautiful way to conclude a family's time on CareApp after the passing of their loved one.
Once a Customer profile is memorialised on CareApp, families will be sent a custom photo slide show created by a Provider Administrator or Site Coordinator account on CareApp.
The photos, text, music, and logo are all customisable when creating the memorial video.
How can I create a memorial video?
If you have a Provider Administrator or Site Coordinator account on CareApp you can memorialise a Customer's Profile and create a slideshow for the family.
Follow the steps below to memorialise a Customer's Profile:
Web
Click on the 'Customers' tab in the left side menu of CareApp Web.
Click on the Customer Profile that you wish to memorialise.
Click 'edit' on the Customer profile.
Click on the 'Settings' tab.
Click on 'Begin' on the 'Archive Profile & Send Slideshow'.
Select the photos you wish to include in the slideshow from the photos available. There is a maximum of 20 photos per slideshow.

Edit the text fields to your preferences and choose the logo and music from the list provided.
Click 'Generate Preview'.
Wait for your preview to load - It can take a few minutes.
View the slideshow.
Click on the 3 dots on the video player to download the video if you wish.
When you are happy with the slideshow select "Complete Archival & Send Slideshow".

Confirm you are happy with the following:
- Archive and disable this customer
- Email download links for the slideshow video to family members
- Disable family members' accounts that do not have other non-archived family member
Click "Archive Customer & Send Slideshow" to confirm and send.
This slideshow will now be sent to families connected to this Customer profile.

What will the family see once you send the slide show?
You may be wondering, what families see when a Customer Profile is memorialised.
All "Active" family accounts connected to the memorialised customer profile will receive an email containing the memorial video slide show that you have created.
"Deactivated" family accounts will not receive any correspondence and will not receive the memorial video.

Once a family member clicks on "View video", the memorial video will automatically download onto their device where they are able to keep it and watch it as many times as they like.
The link on the email will expire after 90 days so it's best to download the video onto your device.
