CareApp lets you communicate quickly and easily with your care team using direct messages. You can send:

  • One‑to‑one messages

  • Group messages (multiple team members together)

💡 This feature is great for coordinating shifts, asking questions, sharing quick updates, or checking in with your team.

Can't see Messages?

Messaging must be enabled for your organisation. If you don’t see the Messages feature, ask your system administrator or contact CareApp Support at hello@careapp.com.au to have it switched on. 


Mobile App

  1. Open the CareApp mobile app.
  2. Tap the Messages icon at the bottom‑right.
  3. Tap New.
  4. Choose the team members you want to message (individuals or a group).
  5. Tap the arrow to create the message.
  6. Type and send your message.

Web

  1. Log in to CareApp Web.

  2. Click + New in the left‑hand menu.

  3. Choose Messages.

  4. Select the team members you want in the message group.

  5. Type your message in the text field.

  6. Press Send.

Once the message is sent, everyone in the group will get a notification each time a reply is received.
