Saving Your CareApp Login Using Face ID, Fingerprint or Password Manager
CareApp uses your email and password to log in. Many modern phones let you save your password or use Face ID / fingerprint to autofill the password field, so signing in is quicker and easier.
These features are controlled by your device or browser, not CareApp. Most newer phones support these methods, but older devices might not.
This guide will show you how to set it up — select your device below:
Apple iPhone & iPad
Apple devices allow you to save passwords securely and use Face ID or Touch ID to log in.
How to enable:
- Go to Settings on your device
- Tap Passwords
- Ensure AutoFill Passwords is turned ON
- Make sure iCloud Keychain is enabled
- When logging into CareApp, choose Save Password when prompted
Once saved, your device may offer Face ID or Touch ID for future logins.
Note: Face ID / Touch ID availability depends on your device model and settings.
Android Phones & Tablets
Android devices use Google Password Manager or the device’s built-in security.
How to enable:
- Open Settings
- Tap Passwords & accounts (or Google → Autofill)
- Ensure Password saving is ON
- Log into CareApp and choose Save Password when prompted
Your device may then allow fingerprint or face unlock for future logins.
Note: Menu names can vary depending on the phone brand (Samsung, Google Pixel, etc.).
Web Browser
If you access CareApp via a web browser, your browser may be able to save your login details for quicker sign-in.
Common browsers include:
- Google Chrome
- Safari
- Microsoft Edge
- Firefox
How it works:
- When you log in, your browser may ask if you’d like to save the password.
- Once saved, it can auto-fill your details next time.
Missed the prompt?
If you accidentally closed the save password pop-up or chose “never ask again,” you can usually add it manually:
- Go to your browser settings → Passwords or Autofill
- Find an option to add a new password
- Enter your CareApp email and password to save it
To check settings:
- Make sure password saving is enabled in your browser.
Note: Biometric login on computers depends on your device.
Device compatibility
Saved passwords and biometric login are available on most modern mobile devices, but older devices may not support these features
- Availability depends on:
- Device model and age
- Operating system version
- Security features enabled on the device
- Some devices may support saved passwords but not Face ID or fingerprint login
If you’re unsure whether your device supports these features, we recommend checking your device settings or contacting the device manufacturer.
