Most Active Sites Leaderboard
Understanding the Most Active Sites Leaderboard on CareApp Insights
The Most Active Sites Leaderboard is a simple way to see how active your site is compared to others. It can be a fun way to compete with other users, but shouldn't be taken too seriously. This article explains how the leaderboard works.
Leaderboard Contents
The leaderboard lists all the sites in your provider in order of activity. For each site, we show their position in the table, the score they obtained for the date range selected, and their movement up or down in rank from the previous period.
In the image below we can see that Sandy Hills Lodge is in first place. Great Job Sandy Hills! Next wee see the score that got them to first place, 3.3. The final column shows that they have moved up 2 places since the previous period, where they would have been in third place.
Score Formula
The Leaderboard looks at all the posting made at the site, and considers all the posts types shown in the Post Breakdown table. The formula used to calculate a site's score is as follows:
Tally = (Notes created
+ Photos created
+ Videos created
+ Wellbeing Checks
+ Video Chats
+ Notices Posted
+ Memoriams Created)
Score = Tally / Number of Customers
First we add together the counts of all the content created in the timeframe. We then divide this tally by the number of customers at the site, to give the final score.
Dividing By Customers
We divide the tally by the number of customers at the site so that we can meaningfully compare sites of different sizes. Otherwise, a large site with more staff and customers would overwhelm a smaller site, since it is easier for a large site to do more posting.
Limitations
The Leaderboard is a simple way of comparing how different sites are using CareApp, but it does have some limitations.
- The leaderboard considers all kinds of content equal when tallying the results. You may place more priority on some types of posting than others
- Dividing by the number of customers is only accurate if the sites' customer lists are accurate. Customers should be deactivated as necessary.
- The leaderboard does not consider other actions, such as Hearts, Comments, and Views
We recommend exporting the data from CareApp and building your own statistics if the Most Active Sites Leaderboard doesn't answer the precise question you are interested in.
