Care Provider: Turn media off on a customer profile | No photos and videos on a customer account
If a family member or customer decides they do not want media (photos and videos) uploaded onto CareApp they can request media to be switched off.
When media is switched off for a customer's account, CareApp will not allow photos and videos to be uploaded for this customer's account.
Please see the example image below showing media not being allowed for a customer's account.
This setting can be easily turned on or off in the settings tab for each customer. Please follow the guide below on how to turn media off on a customer's account.
How to turn media off on a Customer's account
If you have an Administrator account on CareApp you can change the settings in the customer's account.
- On CareApp web click on the 'Customers' tab.
- Click on the customer you wish to change the media settings for.
- Click on 'edit' in the top right corner of the screen.
- Click on the 'Settings' tab.
- Here are all of the account settings for this customer's account - click on the switch next to 'Allow photos and videos to be uploaded'. When the switch is grey it means the media is turned off.
- Click save.
