👋 Want to invite another family member to CareApp?
You're in the right place. Whether you can send the invitation yourself depends on the settings your care provider has in place.
If your provider has enabled this: you can invite family members directly from your account.
If your provider hasn't enabled this: reach out to them and ask them to send the invitation on your behalf.
Follow the steps below to get started.
Mobile
- Navigate to the + New button.
- Select Invite to CareApp from the menu.

- Enter the family member's email address that you wish to invite - Tap Continue.

- Tap on the Select people button.

- Select your loved one/s profile - Tap Done.

- Tap Continue.

- Check that the information is correct and tap Send Invite.

Web
Navigate to the Communities tab to see a list of your loved ones.

Click on the loved one you want to add family to.
Switch to the Community tab.

Click Add to Community.

Enter the family member’s email address, then select the role and click Invite User.

Once you've sent the invitation, your family member will receive an email with everything they need to get started. They'll just need to follow the prompts and set a password.

How many family members can I invite?
There’s no limit!
You can invite as many family members as you'd like to join your loved one’s CareApp community. The more, the merrier—CareApp is all about keeping everyone connected and in the loop.
How do I know if I can invite family?
Great question!
The ability to invite other family members depends on the settings chosen by the care provider.
If you see an “Invite Family” option in your CareApp, you’re all set to send invites.
If you don’t see that option, it just means the provider hasn’t enabled it—no worries, you can always reach out to them directly to request an invitation for another family member.
Does it cost money to invite more family?
Not at all — it’s completely free!
You can invite as many family members as you like to join your loved one’s CareApp community, with no extra charges or hidden fees.
What do I do if they didn’t receive the invite?
Sometimes invites can sneak into junk or spam folders—ask them to double-check there first.
If it still hasn’t come through, you can simply resend the invitation through CareApp. Easy!
