Care Provider: How to move a resident or client profile to another site
Learn how to move a resident or client profile to a new site in CareApp and keep their history and family connections intact
If a resident or client has moved from one site to another, you may wish to transfer their existing CareApp profile (including all posts and history) to the new site.
🔄 Moving a Profile Between Sites
Currently, CareApp does not support moving profiles between sites within the app. However, our friendly team can assist you with this!
📧 To request a profile move, please email us at hello@careapp.com.au with the following details:
- Resident/client name
- Current site name
- New site name
We’ll take care of the transfer for you and let you know once it’s complete.
🆚 Creating a New Profile
If you prefer, you can create a new profile at the new site, but previous history will be lost when the old profile is archived.
This option works perfectly fine — the only difference is that family members will need to be re-invited to connect to the new profile.
